A lovely oasis in the village of quality throughout (well the toilet hand dryer is not fit for purpose). Loved the small touches of leaf tea, a great cumberland ring in my breakfast roll, excellent cakes on display and all at a reasonable price....... time to follow up with a coffee

Great breakfast and fab coffee in a lovely location. Dog friendly too which is always a bonus. Good value. Will return.

Stayed @ Braithwaite caravan site last week, had Pizzas on the Friday. Wow - These are amazing, I would highly recommend if your in the area on a Friday evening.

We stumbled upon this great place on the way back from biking in Whinlatter. We had 2 coffees, a panini, a crunchie brownie and the best rockie road EVER but it was all really good, so much so we went back the next day for breakfast on route to Buttermere.

Lovely cafe here in the village, beautiful cup of coffee , amazing since they offer oat/soy alternative since I am lactose intolerant. Great variety of different coffees , cakes ,sandwiches. Has both indoor/outdoor seating, overall good experience!

Really lovely owner and the food is delicious! We had the fried chicken which they do on a Saturday night - you can tell it’s all homemade, it’s not greasy and tastes soooooo good! We’ve had a pizza on a Friday night too about a month ago and again, you can tell it’s homemade as it just tastes fantastic. Very reasonably priced and you’re always welcomed with a smile.

My wife and I have walked by jaspers a few times while on our holidays in Braithwaite, we thought it was just a coffee shop , one day we decided to call in for a drink after our walk with the dogs, what a really nice place, the young man served us was really helpful and we realised then they did food , the following morning we went for a full breakfast as we were travelling home , oh my it was delicious, we loved it and again the young man and young woman serving us was so polite and helpful and friendly,ll makes it a great experience. Once we finished and said goodbye we walked to our car and drove home, I then realised I had forgotten my bag that was on the floor where we had sat in the cafe, I phoned and again the lovely people there sorted it out and the owners sent my bag by post for us . We are so thankful. If you are visiting the lake District please visit jaspers , the food the coffee and the team are just lovely. Thank you Paul x Annie and the dogs .

JCH really was an unexpected delight after we’d been hiking around Whinlatter for the afternoon, as I wasn’t expecting to find any cafes catering to vegans close by. The food was delicious and the staff were lovely. A real bonus that they were dog friendly too, so we didn’t have to sit outside. Highly recommend!
